Hello Children,
I'm not going to say that everyone did wonderfully and this was SUCH a difficult decision. Of course truer words have never been spoken, but I doubt anyone ever really believes such sentiments. As a result, the anguish I've been through over the past hours as I made my decision will go entirely unnoticed. That's my burden, what do you care?
While I did ask one question; "What does the Harry Potter Series Mean to You," I love that each of you answered in entirely different ways. Miss Marlow's picture showed how love was the overall theme of the stories, and her use of colour is lovely. Her detailed description added to my over all understanding of her work.
Miss Devan's video is epic in it's use of music, while Aurora's is incredibly funny. Both approaches are shining examples of JK Rowlings writing.
Miss Martin's comparison of Harry, Voldemort and myself to the Peverell brothers is clever and creative, and she also made it beautiful with her use of colour.
Miss Ansbach did a lovely job fitting a big meaning into few words. As a writer myself, I know how difficult that is. Every word must be chosen with care in order to make it work, and Miss Ansbach was certainly successful in that.
The winner is Miss Callaghan. I love that her work is so deeply personal to herself, and in the end... isn't this what we all truly love about the Harry Potter series? While these characters are fictional, they help us through the many mediums we use to channel them. Whether we read JK Rowlings words, write fanfiction, create fan art, or hop on Facebook to RP with the characters we love. The characters are always there for us.
OK. Thank you to everyone who submitted. It's been fun. Let's do this again some time soon.
Miss Callaghan, email me and we'll talk. I do believe I promised a prize for this.
Sincerely,
Headmaster Severus Snape

Contest Submission from Miss Shannon Ansbach
Here's a lovely little drabble from Miss Ansbach. Read. Enjoy. Leave her a comment!
Contest Submission from The Seductive Miss Lori Martin
Today we have this submission from Miss Martin. Her notes are as follows:
"A large part of the series for me is the connection between Harry, Snape, and Voldemort--they were all Half-Bloods, and they all found their first real home at Hogwarts. What I love most of all is how it's the Peverell Brothers story all over again. It brings the story together when it's at its close, and just makes everything more complex. I think this is one of the biggest examples of how much of a genius J.K. Rowling is."
Stay tuned for a submission from Miss Ansbach.

Hello ungrateful idiots,
Here's a hilarious submission from Professor Aurora Sinistra. Sadly, blogger is giving me difficulty in putting it directly on the page. Do enjoy, and leave her a comment!

This submission is from Miss Carol Marlow. Her notes are as follows:
Now, my entry's title is 'The Greatest Magic'. Because the Harry Potter stories to me, aside from being about magic and wizardry and such, is primarily about love. Love is the strongest force, the most powerful thing, the greatest magic on earth. This story makes it clear. From the beginning, with Lily's sacrifice to save her son's life, showing the strength of a mother's love for her child, then going to Harry, who's greatest wish is to have a family that loves him and stands beside him. He gets his wish in the love of his two friends, Hermoine and Ron, who become his family both in spirit and when Harry marries Ginny, while Ron marries Hermoine.
Then, there is Severus's part in the tale. Severus Snape shows Harry, through his memories, that he did everything in his life, that every step the man made, was because he loved Lily. And that because of Lily's friendship, and Severus's devotion to her, he was willing to do anything, even after she was dead, because he would love her, as he told Dumbledore, 'Always'.
So of course at the heart of it all, the center, is Lily, who had the heart to befriend Severus, showing him what love feels like, and who loved her son so much she didn't hesitate to die for him. Her love made everything in the stories possible. And there's my reasoning. I hope that, win or lose, this piece has as much meaning for those who view it as it did for me while I was drawing it.

Highlights So Far
Hello, students and whoever else might be reading this.
As the Headmaster pointed out, this will be the place in case you have missed any important events. Since I know that it's been a long time for some of us, I've jotted down a bit of the highlights about the story, thus far. I've included some of the major events surrounding Severus and I, and, of course, the other important events. If I've missed something, I apologize. I've been going through the archives for about six hours. I'm bound to miss a few things.

Welcome
Hello, Dunderheads.
This is your Headmaster speaking. What is the point of this blog? Do you want the truth? Mainly, I wanted a wedding countdown ticker, and this is a good home for it.
But since we're all here, this will also become a place to archive bits of post-MiM rp that are important to our story. It will also be a place to archive the fanfiction that this game inspired me to write. Because of the blogger tagging system, this will be more successful here than it has been on Facebook.
You may see some other contributers here as well. This is meant to be a group blog, and not just MY blog. We'll find a way to make it clear who is posting.
Let's summarize for a moment: The rp will continue on Facebook as always, but check back here for anything important you may have missed. Just to be extra certain you haven't missed anything, enter your email address in the sidebar to follow.
That's all for now, children. As you were.
